Within it is a sock-like (likely Primeknit) bootie, similar to that of the Yeezy Boosts. Taking on the form of a sneaker, the silhouette is a sculpted foam exoskeleton. adidas, with Yeezy under their wing, hops onto this craze to craft their own version of the EVA foam trend. With Quake (Enhanced), experience the authentic, updated, and visually enhanced version of the original. That, and the inclusion of a bootie, makes it closer in appearance to the adidas Quakes. The drop of official images (pictured above) reveal that the adidas trefoil logo appears on the side of the tongue in bright orange. That being said, these images do not come with release dates, but we expect more information to drop soon. Regardless of intentions, these detailed shots showcase that the exoskeleton is printed with intricate grooves that seem to further adidas’ obsession with topographical elements as of late. This surfaces amidst tense relations between Ye’s Yeezy and adidas, and is perhaps a means to attenuate rumors that the Trefoil has been copying the rapper’s homework designs. As with the white edition, the adidas Trefoil logo lands on the padded tongue, though this time in black. The laces, too, adopt this color for extra contrast against the plain black. In this iteration, the EVA foam skeleton takes on a black hue while the inner bootie is dressed in a bright neon orange. ![]() Has done it again!
